Empire State of Mind

It’s been almost 2 years since I packed up my apartment, bit farewell to my friends and family in Australia and moved to NYC on a whim. Ever since my first visit to NYC over 5 years ago, I knew I needed to spend more time in the city. I was attracted to the contagious energy, the entrepreneurial spirit of the people and the optimism that with a little hard work, dreams will come true.

Never in my dreams did I expect NYC to be this amazing! Plans for a 3 month stay turned into 2 amazing years, the most rewarding and inspiring job and a beautiful group of friends who have lead me to experience the best of New York – from late nights filled with live music, dancing and debauchery to summers in the Hamptons or Fire Island and winters huddled around a fireplace in cozy downtown bars. The experience has been nothing short of a dream. So as this one nears to a close, I wanted to share some of my favorite images of the concrete jungle where dreams are made of…
